I think Putin is purposefully manipulating the market. It's like a reverse pump and dump scheme: First you scare everyone, which drops the price. That's when you buy it up for cheap. Next you tell everyone it was all just a false alarm.
I suspect a lot of different countries flip flopping on crypto is just a way for them to personally profit on crypto.
completely agree! But it is also very good for russian government to use crypto, because a lot of western banks put sanctions on them.
