I feel bad for these people but the #1 rule of investing is never invest more then you are willing to lose... I know Bitconnect and its shills convinced many of these people that it was a no lose situation, but if they just spent the time to punch in some numbers on a daily compounding interest calculator they would have quickly realize that Bitconnect and its shills were selling them a complete fantasy land expectations based on mathematically impossible exponential growth that was doomed to fail from the get go. So what did we learn from all of this? That obvious ponzi's are obvious...

My heart is breaking for these people that put an abundant amount of money into cyptocurrency and lost it hard and fast . Even through crypto's is a new currency this scenario has repeated itself many times over the years. No investment is without risk....nothing is written in stone. The key is to invest only what you are willing to lose so it does not cause devastation and since they have a cypto currency suicide hotline that sounds like that is exactly what happened. We can't change what has happened we can just be aware so that we learn what not to do in the future for our own wellbeing.
