NEO council announces refund option
The ICO recall storm has taken has reached a fever pitch today - NEO council has decided to allow refunds for NEO purchased during their ICO rounds (prerounds, ICO1 and ICO2). Any participants who have contributed funds during these rounds can now refund their NEO by emailing [email protected]. The council pointed out that this is not the first time NEO Council as accepted refunds - over 1 year ago they accepted refunds. During the previous refund phase, a total of 15 participants applied for refunds and a total of 50.308364 BTC was refunded. The current refund is voluntary for NEO holders and the current value of NEO is greatly above the initial ICO price.
Future of NEO
The council stated that the NEO project has enough funds to proceed for the coming years and has no intention of giving up. They assured that NEO is now a global movement, not just a Chinese one, with many international developers (eg. City of Zion)
What about other ICO funded projects?
Whilst the NEO team has enough funds to support the development of the coming years, it is not yet certain what other Chinese ICO funded teams will do. We have seen 4 recently completed ICO projects issuing refunds, but this is the first time a project that was created years ago has allowed this.

The question is, are they doing the refund to please the chinese government ?
So while ICO is all the rage, NEO has so much more potential than that. Smart contracts can be of great benefit. I purchased NEO on the potential of these possibilities, not because of ICO's. I am sure there are plenty of smart folks who can see this too.
but all the developers are working with ethereum/solidity? You can do everything on Ethereum what you can do on NEO.

This type of action says ALOT about the team. And this one is definitely a plus
The fact that they are offering a refund shows the credibility of their business. A fraudulent one would take what they had and run. I predict NEO will be up double if not $100 by the end of the year.
Yeaa they have too refund...but Neo will gonna explode soon...!!
