Hello, Blockmason community! Another week is upon us, which means it's time for another Weekly Update.

In this edition of the Weekly Update, we'll share how to enable PayPal settlement in Lndr, an article on how Lndr v1.2 could lead to growth in cryptocurrency adoption and more.

Fiat Settlement with PayPal in Lndr v1.2

Lndr v1.2 is live! Try some of the new features, including much-anticipated fiat currency settlement options, thanks to Lndr's integration with PayPal.

The release of Lndr v1.2 marks a significant milestone in Lndr’s development, as we have added the ability for our users to record and settle casual debts in more than 20 fiat currencies. Before today, Lndr users could record IOUs and debts in various major currencies, but could only settle up in Ether (ETH.) Now, thanks to our new PayPal integration, Lndr users can choose to settle up in Ether or in any of the currencies that PayPal supports.

How to enable PayPal settlement in Lndr

Getting PayPal set up in Lndr is a great way to experience some of the major changes in Lndr v1.2, and it's easy to get started.

In three easy steps, you can connect your PayPal account with Lndr. If you don't have a PayPal account, head on over to https://www.paypal.com and get registered.

Step 1: Once you open your Lndr app tap the settings icon at the top of your screen, then tap on Receive PayPal Payments. Now simply tap Connect PayPal.

Step 2: After tapping on Connect PayPal you will be brought to the PayPal login screen. Fill in your PayPal credentials and tap next.

Step 3: That's it, your Lndr app should be connected to your PayPal. You can now toggle the ability to receive PayPal payments on and off. Happy lending!

Lndr is our peer-to-peer bill-splitting and expense-sharing mobile app for iOS and Android. It uses the Credit Protocol and the Ethereum blockchain to create, manage and settle casual debts and IOUs between friends. Essentially, "Venmo of the blockchain."

Lndr supports dozens of currencies and allows users to settle debts in Ether (ETH). Lndr now also includes fiat currency settlement through integration with PayPal.

Adding PayPal Could Lead To 100M More Crypto Traders: Lndr DApp.

We were recently featured in an article on Crypto Briefing based on an interview with Blockmason's Chief Marketing Officer, Erik MacKinnon in anticipation of Lndr v1.2 release on August 15th.

As some of you may know, last week we announced that Lndr v1.2 has added an option to settle debts or IOUs with PayPal. This was a highly requested feature and has since sparked questions about how Lndr might help to increase Cryptocurrency adoption globally.
