8 . How do I buy Zephyr with BTC?

Zephyr is available on Bitshares DEX. You’ll need to buy Bitshares ($BTS) from an BTS supporting exchange (Bitshares DEX, Poloniex, Binance etc) and then transfer your BTS to the Bitshares Dex and buy $ZEPH from there.

9 . Can I use other cryptos other than BTS to buy Zephyr from the Bitshares DEX?

Yes you can. You can use BTC or ETH to purchase BTS and then ZEPH through Bitshare Gateways : https://bitshares.org/deposit/

10 . Why is the price on coinmarketcap different to my zephyr in my Bitshares wallet price?

Coinmarketcap can take a while to update. If in doubt, refer to your Bitshares wallet for Zephyr price.

11 . My Bitshares Wallet isn’t syncing! What’s happening?

This could be a node connectivity issue. Please go to settings and switch nodes.

12 . What happens to the remaining $ZEPH which didn’t get sold?

123m ZEPH were sold during the tokensale of the 600m on offer. The remaining ZEPH was returned to the Bitspark pool for future usage in rewards distribution.

13 . Why is Zephyr in circulation different to amount sold?

Not all available Zephyr Tokens were sold in the sales. Total amount of Zeph sold was 123,606,766.351.

14 . What is the total amount of Zephyr Sold in the token sale?

15 . How do I make sure all $ZEPH that wasn't sold during the pre-sale was returned to the Bitspark company pool?

16 . Why isn’t Bitspark using Bitshares over Ethereum?

Ethereum has its advantages but in the space of remittances and world wide payments, Bitshares is better applied. With its speed, cost and pegged asset capability, it provides a wider spectrum of solutions specific to payment issues faced with traditional finance and with bitcoin.

17 . How many coins are in Bitspark’s allocated pool & how and when will they be used?

As per the whitepaper, the distribution of ZEPH will adhere to the following;

30% Available during the Token Sale 30 day period
30% Customer Rewards pool
5% Bitspark Team
35% Marketing, Sales team Hiring pool

The Zephyr tokens which did not get sold (only ~123m of 600m were sold during ICO) are allocated to the rewards pool for future distribution.

The first integration of ZEPH with Bitspark will be in Sendy which is going through a complete redesign and backend configuration. Sendy 2.0 will be going through public testing by first half of February. ZEPH is also be part of the UNDP/Bitspark collaboration project currently pending approval by UNDP Tajikistan.

Fortnightly updates are made on Bitspark’s Steemit about company and zephyr development. Information about Rewards and Bitspark/Zephyr Growth pool implementations when they happen will be detailed there and updated when necessary.

18 . Will ZEPH distributions inflate the supply of ZEPH?

No, ZEPH is a deflationary token, there is a max total supply of 2 000 000 000 ever in existence.

Bitspark will issue ZEPH from the rewards pool into circulation according to the distribution plan outlined in the whitepaper. 25% of fees paid on a remittance transaction will be used to buyback tokens from the network. Initially during Tajikistan pilot project Bitspark will be seeding the market with more ZEPH than is bought back for a period of 6 months or until the pilot is complete. Following that based on market demand and liquidity Bitspark will be ensuring distribution of ZEPH is less than or equal to is what is bought back not including promotional periods. Bitspark will also be seeding free ZEPH to existing MTOs to ensure interest and uptake in utilising ZEPH rewards and demonstrating added profitability it can bring to MTOs
Tokens in the Sales / Marketing and Company pool will be issued at the discretion of the company in order to support the growth of ZEPH and Bitspark remittance network. The company intends this to be used for promotional events, exchange listings, media coverage, online marketing and other expenses related to the promotion of Bitspark’s remittance network and Zephyr.
Over time more ZEPH will enter supply supporting the healthy growth of the network and a utility token, Bitspark’s interests and the interests of token holders are aligned in maximising token holders value by ensuring the rapid uptake of Bitspark’s remittance services which ensures greater positive price pressure and trading volume.

19 . Will Bitspark burn any tokens?

No Bitspark has no plans to burn tokens.

20 . Why are there 2 Billion Zephyr tokens?

The 2 Billion Zephyr tokens is the representation of the 2 Billion unbanked. Bitspark’s mission is to give access to a free and fair financial system to send and receive payments in 180+ currencies and countries throughout the world.
