Privacy Is Not Just For Criminals - Bitcoin Private
Imagine a place where larger Government entities pushed an agenda to convince the public that the right to privacy isn't for its citizens but for criminals. Imagine that Banks, Investment Firms & Regulators all agree that Privacy isn't an inherent right but one that is negotiated behind closed doors with the powers that be. If you've kept up with Bitcoin recently, then you know that this argument is taking place as we speak.
But here's the catch, Bitcoin isn't a privacy coin as some would expect, nor does it provide an option to make your transactions private. Instead its transparent, allowing anyone to track down who you are, where you spend your money and where to find you. Think this isn't possible? Think again, just recently a group called BitFury, De-Anonymized over 15% of the Bitcoin Network, you can check out the details at BitFuryDe-Anonymized. This means that 95,000,000 Bitcoin address's were identified according to this article, putting anyone who publicly used their public key at risk of being on this list.
At this point, its not just your ledgers balance that's at risk or your spending habits but its something much deeper than any of this. It's about willingly allowing the Government to practice unlimited surveillance of you and your families finances. All of this is about to change and we need to spread the word!
The Bitcoin & Crypto Community is addressing this issue in an upcoming fork called Bitcoin Private, a whole new coin about to hit the market. As we get into 2018, privacy will become a bigger issue. As the value of Bitcoin continues to rise, so will the criminal activity and the governments effort to monitor your spending. It's our right to protect ourselves from criminal activity & from government surveillance, not the other way around. It's up to the community to speak up by supporting our right to Privacy by electing to use Bitcoin Private in public transactions.
Let's imagine for a moment that you are at a Dallas Mavericks basketball game since Mark Cuban announced he would allow Bitcoin to be used at his arena. While every transaction to purchase a soda, hot dog or beer reveals your Bitcoin key, by electing to use Bitcoin Private, you prevent your public key from ever being exposed. Thanks to ZKsnark technology used in a few highly successful privacy coins, Bitcoin can now share with the world Bitcoin Private.
Privacy is a fundamental right for all who walk this planet. It is up to the Crypto Community to bring awareness to this topic in good faith to its members, investors and future coin enthusiast. The next logical step in cryptocurrency is to ensure the public has a way to protect their privacy. Bitcoin Private is leading the way in this most fundamental and important area of privacy.

wow!)
Yes....the message about Bitfury needs to go viral....BTCP = Privacy which is our right!
It is very plausible that the western governments haven't opposed Bitcoin yet because they are slightly smarter than the Asian ones and realize that it is not going anywhere and instead want to infiltrate it with mass surveillance.
I had not thought of this! Resteeming right away!
Bitcoin Private will be nearly out of coins to mine after fork date, with the scarcity of the coin coupled with truly private transactions, will the masses not flock to it?
