C'mon... Where the coin mommies at?

So, serious question here... where are the coin mommies eh?

For years I have been sitting on the outskirts of the cryptoshpere--mostly just listening to my husband constantly going on about cryptos since bitcoin came out--and now I am finally taking a serious interest in cryptocurrency myself.

My interest comes in part from my own opinions, part from the support of my dear @akrid (thank you), and part from my husband, including his comments about a lack of women having anything to do with cryptos. Now that last part really pissed me off one night, and I made all sorts of arguments about how it is not that women are incapable of grasping the complexities, it's just a lack of interest.

Furthermore, I asserted that I'm sure there ARE in fact women who are heavily invested and immersed in trading and maybe even mining. But then the glaring problem with my argument is that neither of us have ever heard of such a woman.

So in short, I'm asking my Steemit community to let me know if there really are women out there diving into Bitcoin, Litecoin or any of the others. If so, in what way? If not, why do you think that is?

I don't normally get hung up on gender issues, because it just doesn't matter most of the time, and I have better things to do than to get offended every time somebody makes some meaningless comment about one gender or another. But, I do know that there are certain things that, for some reason, men are more or less inclined to do than women. I find this interesting. So I want to learn about this apparent gender divide in the future of money and I'm going to start here.

By the way, I also intent to hodl fat bags of coin and become a coin mommy! So there! Ha!
