Are Wallets Being Threatened?

Google has been telling us for years that they will be getting rid of Chrome Apps. I know its horrible. Well this week google stated that they will be moving forward with the murder of thousands of chrome apps. Why?
Easy. Because NOBODY uses them. Only Bitcoin holders and Drone flyers use chrome app.
I came to realize this because I fly drones and now our chrome app is gone from the chrome store. SO what does this mean?
That your Trezor Wallet or Ledger Wallet app is going to be deleted. At the moment if you have them installed on your computer they will still work, but they will eventually stop working once the process is all done. No more apps for Mac & Win machines. Seems like a small deal to someone who uses chrome app to play a billiard game, but to us, thats like destroying a wells fargo and now you have no ATM machine.

What are the wallet companies doing about this?

Well I was able to get a response from Ledger and they stated that they are "working on a set of native apps and in the meantime can use nwjs.io to provide a compatibility layer with all chrome apps. What does that mean? I have no fucking clue. Im not a programmer.

As for Trezor I have no idea what they have in mind.
