South Korea's Shinhan Bank postponed real-name account for crypto exchange

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Shinhan Bank postponed requiring to authenticate a customer's identity to exchange cryptocurrency.
They said it's not canceled, but postponed.
And from 1/15, they will prevent depositing money to the virtual accounts.

Many customers said they'd close their accounts with the bank.
I guess the bank is in the difficult situation between the Korea Government and customers.

I hope the government just leaves the market alone so that it settles and gets stable somewhere in the future.
They are shaking the market and slows down it's settling, I guess.
What do you think?
