Its very simple, they give 3 worthless coins for 1 worthless coins. It does not cost them anything but people will keep hope they won't take huge losses. At the end, new ico token will not even be worth as close to 50 dollars when they hit exchanges.
exactly a simple solution would be to stay away from it.
