Robert is 28 years old, and he is a car mechanic. He has been interested in car engines and other complex mechanisms since the first time he saw the engine of his parent’s car. He was amazed by the complexity and integrity of the whole system.
He is really passionate about his work and every time a customer brings their car into the shop to get it fixed, Robert is able to spread his excitement almost instantly with everybody, making every customer interested about engines and how they work. One day he realized that his skill of making the confusing and complex topic of engines interesting for everybody could help even more people. He decided that if he has the ability to spread his passion with his customers in the shop, then he can spread the passion with the world, making people understand complex mechanisms better.
He realized that the best way to do so would be to create an interactive mobile game that allows the players to learn about engines and other mechanisms exciting gameplay. But Robert has a big problem, he doesn’t have a lot of money and he doesn’t know anybody that can help him with the development and design of the game.
One day, when browsing through the internet, Robert found a platform called GetGame. The platform is an all-in-one development platform that is run on the blockchain. Robert has learned about blockchain technology and he is really interested by it. So he decides to look more into it.
He starts exploring the site. At the beginning he was just looking around but this quickly changed. He saw many success stories about people who created their dream game, he saw the positive feedback and the supportive community, and he was astonished by the fact that the whole platform works like a well-constructed engine – every detail is helping the whole system move forward efficiently.
He still knew that he needed developers and coders who will create the game, designers who create the skins and themes, he needs marketing to spread the word and ultimately to sell as many copies as possible, but for all of that he needs funding.
So Robert decides to look into the platform more systematically. He discovered that on this platform game makers can create their own unique token that they can sell to people who see potential in the game. The token holders will receive the game’s future revenue and the game makers will receive funding for their venture.
He also found that the platform provides game makers with a shared workspace that they can use to organize their efforts, and the community around the platform consists of many different professionals who can help game makers with the creation of the game. It seems like all of the problems Robert had with creating his dream are solved by this platform.
