Fact: Steem Is The Best Cryptocurrency: A Steemit weekend blog
Most of us use coinmarket cap ( controlled mainly by FUD and HYPE) as indicator of best cryptocurrencies which is ok due to current financial value, market cap and volume et al. Conversely, however, the real future value of a cryptocurrency lies on the power and usage of the technology behind it.
One way to consider a blockchain project is through its market cap. Another way, closer to the real value, is observing the activity on the blockchain. Lots of FUD and HYPE are responsible for "misplaced" capital in the cryptocurrency space. Here, we are observing which project is actually being used by people, which is in our opinion, the best predictive indicator of value you can have.
Considering real indicators with regard to performance, Steem blockchain outperforms all others including Bitcoin and Ethereum combined - in all top indicators as indicated in the pics below. Considering these variables explained above, don’t you think that steem is undervalued and still has room to grow? Moreover , the implementation of the upcoming SMT and HFork 20 see my former post here for details are indicators that the future of steem ecosystem is very bright and thus we all should keep on buying steem ( it is still very cheap now- buy any amount daily or earn it via great posts on steemit) and power up because it will be the best investment decision in few years’ time- especially after the implementation of SMT and HFORK 20 which will lead to steemit disrupting the social media segment- which in return will lead to millions of signups and millions of people using the steem blockchain and subsequently , high steem price even more than Ethereum.

I love your optimism and I continue to power up. STEEM is one of the best blockchains right now and is going to be one of the better currencies going forward.
Higher than ETH? Wow...that is impressive. Considering ETH is above $1200, that makes you hyper-uber-super bullish on STEEM.
Not that I can argue with that mindset...STEEM certainly has the potential to duplicate what ETH did last year. SMT can bring a ton of traffic to this blockchain.
We are going to see a day soon, when people will regret not picking up STEEM when it was a bargain at $6.
I recall your post about the complainers when STEEM was $.85...you think they regret not buying at that price...the only regret I have is that I didnt buy more then.

Absolutely we are going to moon. STEEM might be the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Of course, the advantage that STEEM has over every other blockchain out there is that it not only has the most transactions (without even breaking a sweat) but there is also a dedicated and loyal user base (60K daily and growing) that is not going anywhere. Why? They are making money. No matter what else comes, there is no way I will leave....this place is too good to me.
And I think many are in that boat. It is also why I help the red fish and minnows so much. The more of the making money, that only increases the power of dedication to STEEM.....
I keep telling them, when the price really increases, it is going to be hard to power up...when it takes $10K to get 500 SP, that will make even though with a few hundred SP very powerful on here.
We are all early adopters and will profit accordingly.

I think it gets real interesting when other industries use SMT's like the Vice Token has. Perhaps more Airdrops ahead for Steem holders.

It makes sense for a lot of sites that use the SMT to create tokens to give a bunch to Steemians. Who better to help kick off the new aspect of a site than the people who are familiar with the reward program?
I would also submit that Steem is a little more stable-- price wise-- because it's more of a "utility coin." We don't *see" Steem gaining 300% this week and then losing 98% of the gains next week and endless up and down. This is one of the few coins that has some underlying "fundamentals" to back the currency.
Is it undervalued? Sure, compared to many of the shitcoins out there, especially.
I agree with you...better to gradually increase in value than explode like Bitconnect and later fail . Steem will be the next big thing and we are glad to be part of it.

I do agree that steem is undervalued. But we have seen a trend and more and more people are joining, and steem will go up in the near future as the hype increases. Interesting and educational as always, thanks
