How does CLOUT operate?

CLOUT is built on the Ethereum network with two native tokens, the CLOUT token (CLOUT) and the other being its daughter token, CLC. CLC is what powers the network. Members can use CLC. Furthermore, members will be subsequently rewarded with CLC for their interactions with the CLOUT Network in different ways.

Similar to how Steemit.com works where users are given Steem and Steem Dollars, CLOUT CLC will encourage promoted content on the network, give a higher curating reward, as well as providing users with a larger following.
CLC is rewarded through content creating and curating. This will ensure that posts are constantly regulated for the highest quality of content.

Network Security & ERC223

CLOUT network uses the ERC223 token powered by Ethereum, which is backwards compatible with previous generations such as ERC20. As the cryptoverse evolves into a new era, security and efficiency needs to be one step ahead, and the ERC223 token will become the new standard. It is designed to defend against quantum computer attacks, and will handle token transfer and upgrade contracts to a new level.

Conditions of the ICO & Token Sale

At the time of this published article, the announced Token Sale is 19 days away! There is a total sum of 100,000,000 CLOUT tokens and 1/10 of the total are being sold during the ICO stage. The team at Clout.io have planned for stability and longevity by scheduling the release of CLOUT tokens over the next few years. During the Pre-ICO & ICO, CLC will be awarded to investors who purchase CLOUT on a 1:1 basis.

2 Million CLOUT tokens will be released every year for over the next 5 years following the ICO. By implementing this strategy, holding both CLC and CLOUT tokens becomes more profitable for the users as they continue to become rarer over time.
