GeomaDAO: representing the real concept of DAO in the world of blockchain technology

The world now is busy, trying to see how lives can be saved from the pandemic that has ravaged so many countries. I am happy that you have the privilege of reading this article at this time. However, I would like to urge you to place, not only stay safe but keep safe and practice good personal hygiene. This is one of the ways we can prevent the spread of COVIC-19. My earnest prayer is that those that have been in one way or the other affected will gain quick recovery and no life will be lost.

In a bid to combat the pandemic, a lot of countries have put a halt to so many activities. A lot of workplaces have been short down, schools have closed down and so many economic activities, most especially offline, have been put to a halt. However, in order not to stay idle and to ensure that life goes on and just as you know, there are a lot of things that keep life going and in good condition.

Since the advent of blockchain technology and the introduction of cryptocurrency, humanity has had the opportunity, not only to communicate using encrypted data but to also earn money through the launch of different cryptocurrency projects and most especially by investing in Bitcoin. However, there have been some outstanding projects among others, both old and startups. They were able to stand out because they have good concepts, reputable, industrious and professional team and good marketing strategies, among others. Through my endless search for good projects, I was able to come across an exceptionally great one, called GeomaDAO/.

The ticker for GeomaDAO token, that will be used on the ecosystem is called GMD token. This is a utility token that will be used by the contributors for all activities bordering around the project, such as the right to vote and make decisions until there will be a swap to GMDT, which is a stable token, but this time around, instead of being just a utility token, its form and function will be changed to a security token.
The total supply of GMD token will be 12 million GMD and that will be the maximum supply. Which means that no other token will be minted. It is an ERC20 token, based on the Ethereum blockchain. The early founders will hold 1% of the token total supply, while the remaining 99% will in one way or the other be distributed to the entire community, but how and when will be determined soon.

Will there be a token lockup?
Locking up tokens bring about lots of drawbacks to a project and most especially to the community. So, in a bid to avoid this, GeomaDAO team has decided not to lockup any token, but to release the due tokens to every rightful person.

With all being said, I can affirmatively say that GeomaDAO is a true representation of decentralization and that this is the type of project that we need, in a world where many projects are now drifting away from the core value of blockchain technology.
