If your CryptoBridge account is out of BTS, here's how to get it almost instantly!

I'm posting this, because I just ran into a problem where I could not perform any cryptobridge actions due to not having any BTS! (oopsy.) After a quick google search it turns out there are actually a good number of people who are having a hard time with this. The CryptoBridge platform requires you to have BTS in order to make any transactions. This includes buying, selling and even cancelling orders as I found out today. It can be annoying to actually get some if you don't have it, but fortunately there is one exchange that's super easy to get it from - Blocktrades!

I was quickly able to convert the one measly SBD I had in my Steemit account to some BTS to unstick my transaction and purchase my Smart Cash! So for anybody who is having a similar dilemma, this is a good option as it does not require an account, and you can use multiple currencies to do so such as BTC, STEEM, SBD, ETH, ect. The fee was also reasonable. I was able to transact a very small amount almost instantly without losing much to fees.

All you need to do is select the currency you want to swap. I've chosen SBD, but several top level coins like BTC, ETH, and LTC are here as well if you need to use those. Then choose BTS (bitshares) as the one you want to receive. Enter your crypto-bridge account name in the "receive address" area. Then use the supplied deposit address to send the coin you want to swap. In a few moments, check your CryptoBridge account, and you'll see some shiny new BTS in there.

Cryptobridge transactions only require a very small amount of currency. Even as little as one SBD was enough to get my account back up and running. This method was so easy that I'll likely be using it every time I need some "gas" in my cryptobridge account so to speak.

If you don't yet have a CryptoBridge account, then I highly recommend getting one! I've just started using them, and I have to say the experience has been great. All of my transactions have been very fast, and easy. I love using their decentralized desktop app, and the secure private key based wallet as opposed to the typical e-mail login which is easily phished. Users of any country can use CryptoBridge without verification or release of any personal information. This makes it an excellent option for privacy advocates or people who live in countries where it may be difficult to get an exchange account if their country is blocked or heavily censored.
