What I dont't get is why does Bitshares needs another decentralized exchange on top? Bitshares itself is a decentralized exchange...???
Good question. Not sure but I assume for the same reasons Smart Media Tokens are being issued on STEEM.
Or maybe different user interface and sets of coins to trade. Do you probably know how new coins are voted or listed to the Bitshares DEX? There was another ICO Deex also on Bitshares. https://www.deex.exchange/
