Those who hold carry those who sold
I know I know everyone throws that Hodl meme out everytime thing are going down, and will say I told you so when things begin to climb. What if I told you that holders just carry the bags of those who sold, and when things get cheap the sellers will pillage the holders. This is a recurring pattern in crypto, I know because I built my wealth in this manner and I would continue to do so if migraines didn't slow me down.
Unless you are specifically the end user, you really have no reason to hold after you have gained you 3-4x. Why would you? You don't actually have a use for 95% of the tokens available anyways. We have been conditioned to believe that holding is the only way for crypto to gain value but it not, actual real-world use cases are.
Just wanted to vent a little as I am starting to really get irritated with the "hodl" movement

I won't be too hard on myself, as I'm still a novice; but, worse thing I did this year is stop a 'lucrative' power down that was yielding a 'healthy' little ROI. The worse part is I went went against my Inner Wisdom/Peace, by foolishly listening to a HODL perp...smh!...(lol)...I won't name names; but, it's not who most would think it is...lol...

Hey no shame in my game. I'm in it to win it, but at the same time, I don't mind an even playing field. If all newcomers join thinking the whale becames by strictly holdingm then they will be hurt very quickly.

Sometimes when you have to much loss. There nothing you can do but HODL cus you cant afford to lose more. Bless the heart of team HODL, shit is not easy.

Yes, hard lesson learned; but, out-of-pocket investing isn't for those who are on a budget...and should be compared to buying a lotto ticket...The crypto odds might be a bit better; BUT, definitely shouldn't come out of your primary budget for 'getting rich'.
