What is world bank?
An international institute of finance that provides financial aids/loans for capital projects to the countries of the world !!
It is substituted in two parts mainly.
They are :
- International Bank for Development & Reconstruction (IBRD).
- International Development Association (IDA).
The World Bank is purely a component of the World Bank Group!
- Today the world bank’s IBRD consists of around 183 countries over the world as it’s members.
History:
- The world bank was created in 1944 at Bretton Woods Conference with the INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND (IMF).
- President of the world bank is an American (traditionally).

- World bank coincidely believes that Cryptocurrency is a potential platform & will help them to provide safe banking services!
- Along with these they also told that it will also help them to fight against corruption with great immunity.

hey @yashshah991, I want to know how exactly the money bank is funded. Because we always listen the news of countries taking loan from world bank but where does the funds in world bank arrives?
FUNDS are raised by the companies working under world bank as well as they give money & take them with interests! Their interest play a major role of their income!
