POOR COUNTRIES LIKE MALAWI NEED CRYPTO
I was born in Malawi in a family of 5 ,My Father my Mother my elder Brother and then came me and my younger brother after
We lived there till i was 4 years old and my parents decided to move us out of the country to South Africa in 1994 just before Nelson Mandela became president.
Personally that was the best thing that my parents had done for us as a family by enauring the safety of our future.
Growing up i visited Malawi every few years when i could ,learning what i could from family members and exploring the country .One thing that always stood out to me was that my country of birth is so poor and relatively small with a population of only 18 Million whith the country surrounded by Mozambique, Tanzania and Botswana ,gifted with a lake that flows through most of the country and rich fertile land known as Lake Malawi .

It is sad to know that It is one of the poorest countries in the world ,known as "The warm heart of Africa" with most of the population living in rural areas where simple things we take for granted such as lights , electricity, hot water ,Television are not accessible to the majority of the population .let alone having access to internet to know of the great things that are happening in the blockchain space
I realised that only a few people residing in Malawi are familiar bitcoin , crypto and the economic benefits that it can bring about to them aswell .
Lets not get it wrong there is a rich portion of Malawians who live more lavish than i do here in South Africa but the
Skepticism of the crypto-currencies is very high among the few people who have heard about bitcoin or altcoins. It will take a few years or more before more people start adopting and investing in cryptocurrencies and the blockchain . I would estimate another 3 to 8 years for them to get to the point we are at now, and in the crpto space time like that is like 30-80 years with the amount of technology coming out on a daily basis from various blockchain companies .
I think that the major reasons for this skepticism is lack of knowlege about the benefits of blockchain that it can being about to Malawi ,Simple things that iv read up on that blockchain can be implemented such as foreign aid funds, imagine the funds provided by foreign aid are on the blockchain ?
not 1 person can loot or misuse the public funds on the blockchain and those funds can be directed to relevant projects to help the poor .Imagine that? Everyone in and out of the country can view at anytime where and how their funds are being spent, the people will know that indeed change is being made
compared to the current situation whereby a few people in government are depriving the poor of what they really deserve, spending the foreign aid on personal assets .
I guess also for the few rich the lack of knowledge about the future of crypto despite having numerous web sources is also a factor .
But for the majority 90% poor which have no access to the basics tools such as computers and monitors and internet access ,and have no clue about what is going on what happens to the current financial system? how can we bridge the gap between poverty and technology ?
being one of the most underdeveloped countries the people will need a great deal of education , setting a paradigm shift to show them the possibilities of the future.

Most people depend on Agriculture ,and they hardly keep money in the bank coz they hardly make much .just enough to keep going.
The difficult part is convicing people who are already living in poverty and dont have jobs or access to platforms like @steemit .How can the issue be addressed not only for Malawians but for all Africans living in poverty ?most people believe in testimonials so i hope that as i grow with steem and at the same time as my crypto portfolio increases and gets to a point where i can travel more.I learn more so that i take all the knowlege i have when i travel once again to Malawi to share it to the people the opportunity of crypto ,id also like to get like minded people on board to start a project to help me help my country get from where it is to a better position
I am South African by residence but Malawian by birth and Heart so i will make sure i do what i can to bring aboit change in my home country
