Run by Richard Ells, the CEO, Electroneum sets itself apart from the rest with the mobile phone mining application. With the mobile mining application anyone with an android or IOS phone can actually participate in mining and get Electroneum for free just by letting the app run for some hours.
But it gets more exciting from here, you can actually use the Electroneum coins that you’ve mined to pay for your mobile phone data and airtime!
Yes, this is what I believe will catapult Electroneum towards mass adoption. You know how airtime and data can get costly especially in some parts of the world. But with Electroneum you won’t have to worry about that anymore because you’ll be able to pay your service provider with Electroneum.
Electroneum is still in it’s early stages of ensuring complete implementation of this but notably we can see that Electroneum has already signed an MOU with telecommunications and payment company XIUS. Electroneum is also the first crypto company that will participate in the upcoming Mobile World Congress(MWC) scheduled to begin on 26th Feb, 2018. Electroneum will have a stand and be able to showcase their product to the who is who in the mobile telecommunications industry.
Electroneum is still dirt cheap at the current prices considering that it’s only available on one exchange (cryptopia) at the moment.
The mobile mining functionality is still in beta phase with only a selected individuals having tried but it’s poised to go full scale before the mobile world congress on 26th.
2018 looks like is going to be a superb year for c Electroneum and crypto currencies.

Mobile mining is still in beta. If you use www.suprnova.cc, they have a mining pool. Cpu or gpu?
Any cryptocurrency that dominates the mobile world will stand at the top of the market. I had not heard of Electroneum so TY for that. And TY for the MWC heads up. Even if XIUS tanks this project, there is no substitute for experience. I am so scared of mobile tech that I incorporated it into my aviation master thesis. Hope we can connect.
