And just like that almost a month goes by. Apologies we had planned to do these updates at least every couple of weeks but have been busy working on plans as we'll expand upon below.

Exchanges

We heard this week that the police investigation has allowed Cryptopia back into their premises so we eagerly await news of their plans for the future. We hope they will reopen and that trading can resume.

But we haven't rested on our laurels. Trading at Altilly has been great but we want more than one exchange with at least some volume. Thanks to super kind community donations we decided to list at AltMarkets - some of you may remember them from last year. They unfortunately suffered a hack and closed their doors back then, but are making a come back with a completely new and more secure exchange plus lots of development and future plans. With these two exchanges, plus Xiphos we now have a good base of exchange options and if/when Cryptopia resumes we'll have a better liquidity of trading.

Wallet update

This has been the most frustrating aspect of TRBO over recent weeks/months. We wanted to roll out a new and updated code base but preserve the historical chain, but the wallet and functionality has been proving troublesome. We look like we are almost there, the latest version is undergoing further testing and we hope to have more news on this front soon.

TRBO development

Although things like Cryptopia and wallet updates have delayed our plans somewhat, we haven't stopped working on a TRBO platform, whitepaper and more. You've seen some developments already via the Faucet, the Airdrop, TRBO bots on Discord. But there are more that are almost ready to release alongside the new website.

A fully functional site/tool that utilises TRBO for payment, a Mobile Wallet that allows for easy temporary storage and movement of TRBO, and a pre-Alpha version of the main TRBO platform are all there. We're just piecing everything together and testing-testing-testing before release.

And while we've been doing that, some new news has come about ...

New news

As part of the platform development, white paper writing and website finalisation, we have concluded that there is a missing piece to the TRBO puzzle. While we are clear about what TRBO is and what its use case is, we couldn't quite crack some of the platform logistics that would thread it all together.

That missing piece is a new, separate coin ("NewCoin" for now), one that will act as a platform coin enabling clear delineation between TRBO as the user coin and "NewCoin" as the platform coin. We're working through the details and finalising plans for the big reveal soon but the TRBO team is excited about this step which with further expand the potential of TRBO.

One thing we do know is that there will definitely be a "NewCoin" distribution among current TRBO holders. All details yet TBC but we want to reward those who have kept faith in TRBO.
