When
I started my
#introduceyourself, I told them that in this space I would talk about things interesting, no? Well this is not the exception.
I have decided to participate in a contest which allows me to write about a problem that today has become a bit tedious in the field of health, with this I mean the annoying and extensive medical services that take away so much money and hours of our life, hand in hand with @mediaworks, those responsible for finding me talking about this issue with MediBloc., who have sponsored this contest, and I want to express my gratitude to them and to the excellent work done by @mediaworks.
More than one person has suffered from an illness while being out of town where your "trusted" doctors are. We know how annoying it is to have to go through this uncomfortable situation, in which you have had to spend countless amounts of money realizing once again certain number of exams that maybe in your city with your trusted doctor you have already done, but being away from home you do not have this type of information at hand.
Before continuing to present my research, I would like to briefly introduce you to the MediBloc project so that we all enter into context.
MediBloc is a technology company building a decentralized personal health record (PHR) platform on blockchain. Currently, medical records are fragmented and scattered across medical institutions.
MediBloc aims to integrate these records and create a patient-centric platform which will allow patients to utilize their healthcare data.
The -vision- of this company was created as a project of two doctors to solve the current problems of the health information system using blockchain technology. Returning the scattered health information of patients from medical institutions to patients and developing an ecosystem where medical information is distributed safely, creating a world with a complete medical experience for all, including patients, health care providers and researchers.
MediBloc was founded by Dr. Allen Wookyun Kho and Dr. Eunsol Lee.
These are the two geniuses doctors
They have many questions right?
Is healthcare data stored on the blockchain?
What gets recorded onto the blockchain is the hashed value of healthcare data. In other words, if healthcare data is stored in the
MediBloc, the hashed value on
MediBloc is saved on blockchain. This secures the integrity (Doesn't convince me how integrity is secured...) Healthcare data will be stored in a distributed database outside the blockchain. (IPFS) Personal information and medical information is encrypted and stored using a private key, giving sole ownership and access to the individual. There fore, we would be reducing costs by storing data outside of the blockchain.
Personal Health Report
Patients will be able to combine previously scattered medical records and health care data collected through we arable devices. Patients can have complete record and control of the medical history. Patients will be able to use the information during clinical care and use it for personalized health care services, including customized medical a application.
It is interesting to use the tokens in this platform, initially Medi Token (MED) is taken into account, it will be the platform token and will be used in the exchange of information, and for payment methods. This may be transferred between platform users and may be sent outside of it, and another service may be used as payment.
This token will be used to give back in some way to those who contribute and will also serve to encourage users to participate, when a person requires information and a user decides to provide it they will receive a payment for the loan of their data.
For its part we speak of Medi Point (MP), and this will be attributable to each user and in some way represents a status, and the contribution index that has had in the community. It is instranferible, it will be used to create recognition within the ecosystem, the value it receives will be calculated based on the quality of content offered. It is not synonymous with the skills or professional experience, but the contributions made to the platform and this could influence the decision making later.

Roadmap
MediBloc Group
What do you think?
MediBloc can save your medical data in the blockchain system, in this way they are safeguarded, managing to have the information and being able to transport it safely, since normally the information made in a hospital stays there, without being able to access it. With
MediBloc you can access data securely and share it with another specialist only if you authorize it quickly and conveniently from a Smartphone.
If you go to a hospital and need to review your data you can access from your Smartphone and so you can facilitate your process by speeding up your consultation with a new doctor you need the service. This platform has unlimited potential since it is making alliances with large hospitals in the Asian market.
Remember…
"You are the owner of your information and only you decide with whom to share it"
Peace, Peace out
