He's not the Messiah-hard fork for Jesus Coin...move over Lightcoin Cash

Jesus coin has developed a small but enthusiastic following amongst its worshippers and that's probably down to the high profile team behind the coin (Judas, Peter, Donkey, just to name a few) and it being the only coin released thus far to claim to be more powerful than prayer and able to be swapped for miracles.

These would appear to be pretty high barriers to entry, but at the stoning last night gossip was rife of a potential rival emerging.

If the rumours are true a powerful hard fork of the Jesus Coin has been set to take place on Good Friday-the offshoot will not follow the trend of cashing in on the original's name and will not even mention the name Jesus. This coin will be simply called the Brian Coin.

The project is still shrouded in secrecy. Suspected lead developer Brian of Nazareth, code named the Messiah, was not available for comment, but his mother added fuel to the rumours by unconvincingly declaring "he's not the Messiah, he's just a very naught boy" when approached for comment.

Observers from the People's Front of Judaea and the Judaean People's Front have reported sightings of 3 wise men with block chain experience in the vicinity. Coincidence? Maybe.

Either way, the Romans are taking no chances-In an effort to thwart any development of the hard fork the army has been ordered to arrest Brian on sight...
