The Power of NO
The Power of Saying NO:
There is great power in saying the word NO. Say NO to the programming that is happening to you daily. There is a currency called the dollar bill. We call it MONEY. We can break down the word MON Eye= ONE eye. There is magic in the words we use. Everyone is chasing this One Eye dollar bill. You can’t do any exchange without paying homage to the God of the New World Order. Bill. You pay Bill after you receive Bill. The powerful people in this world are called Billionaires. Anyways why am I talking about this?
They got you distracted. While you care about Money you forget the real currency. Attention and Time are the real currency. If I am paying attention to cat videos, watching prank videos, participating in Facebook drama, then where is my attention going. It is going to those things. My Time is being spent on those things. Be careful how you spend your time.
Yet content should be created. How much of the content that is created is available for free consumption? Not a whole lot. The way our society is constructed it is structured around dollar value of individual. Can’t get far without having some form of dollar value.
What would I like to see? I would like to see a gift-based economy. Exchange gifts with one another. Give freely without holding back or expecting anything in return. Everyone could do what they enjoy doing most. They could provide the services that are needed. Right now, I remember this quote.
“Just look at us. Everything is backwards, everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, psychiatrists destroy minds, scientists destroy truth, major media destroys information, religions destroy spirituality and governments destroy freedom.” ― Michael Ellner
This quote rings true because the root reason behind everything is money. If the root reason is not good, then the fruit will not be good. Now what if everyone did what they love because of love. Would everyone by nature horde up resources? Or would they be lazy and not be innovative? Sure, some of them will be that way, but like I said people are programmable. They will help one another out because of love for neighbour. If you have empathy for your neighbour, you wouldn’t want them to starve to death. You wouldn’t want them to freeze in the cold. You wouldn’t want them to be harmed in any sort of way.
Yet we live in a very different world. Everyone looks after themselves and those they are closest with. Sure, they unenthusiastically pay taxes, but they don’t provide enough. They can’t because money is always scarce. We have grown up with scarcity mentality. If we started giving freely our money would run out very fast and this is a problem. Fear keeps us away from a gift-based economy. We don’t want to be used or scammed. We want to be treated fairly and with respect.
How will we attain this society?
Unless something major happens, I am not sure if it is possible. Maybe after several life times. Money is an invention it wasn’t always around. It is form of resistance to change. Can’t do nothing without it in society, so I will keep trying to earn a living.
TLDR Summary: Say NO. Focus attention on what is most important. Gift based economy would benefit everyone because it would allow for maximization of human potential.
