BITCOIN: CHINA TAKES THE SCREW ON CRYPTOCURRENCIES, BITCOIN FALLS VIOLENTLY

(BFM Bourse) - Bitcoin fell below $ 40,000 for the first time in more than three months after statements from Chinese banking federations. The first of the cryptocurrencies plunged to -30% over a day before rebounding.

Bitcoin thus fell sharply to a low just above $ 30,000 shortly before the opening of Wall Street, which corresponded to a drop of nearly 30% in one day. It rebounded again around 3:45 p.m., at around $ 36,500 (-15% from the previous day).
