Confessions of a Crypto Newbie

In 2014 a friend told me about this new thing called Bitcoin. I did not understand it, so I passed on the opportunity. Admittedly, I never took the time to look into it or try to even learn about it. Instead, I determined it was not for me simply because I did not understand it. Here I am, 7 years later and my crypto knowledge is exactly where it was in 2014. Like many in the world, I am starting to wake up and want to learn more.

So what should a newbie do to learn more about crypto, not just Bitcoin?

Where would you start?
