Fantastic Coins and Where to Find Them #2

Digging through different resources, I have noticed there aren't that many fantastic coins out there since the market is trending in Scams and dead projects. I have decided to cover 3 coins per post instead of 4, which was mentioned in my first post of this series, hoping that this would have a longer lifetime in the long run for the series.

1. Binance Coin:

I am sure that most of you are familiar with this coin and the exchange, but there is a reason why I think BNB will skyrocket in price in the near future. Binance Coin (BNB), is the digital currency of the Binance Exchange, it only started trading on July - 15th - 2017 where it can process 1.4 Million transactions per second making it the fastest growing Centralized Crypto Currency Exchange in the world. The ICO of Binance Coin raised 15 Million USD during a three months ICO.

For the past few months, Governments have been waking up one after the other to put regulations on Cryptocurrenices and exchanges, the reason is they are worried about their banking system, and since Cryptocurrecy transactions are considered anonymous, they would like to preserve funding terrorism for themselves. This is where Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) will be the safe haven of every crypto trader.

I have just finished watching a live coverage of Blockchain Revolution Conference that was held in South Korea. During his speech, Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance, announced that Binance development team would be working on a decentralized version of the exchange during 2018. "In the future, Binance will build a decentralized exchange, where BNB will be used as one of the key base assets as well as gas to be spent". Just like Bitshares DEX, when Cryptodoomsday is upon us and all centralized exchanges are either shut down or heavily regulated, there will be a massive flow of investors towards decentralized exchanges, making the DEX main token like BNB or BTS, a main trading pair for most cryptos. This is where the price of DEX based coins will skyrocket to unprecedented heights in a very short period of time.

The current price of BNB is around 11.66 $ and could be found on Binance & EtherDelta.

2.Pundi X:

Pundi X aims to provide the world with extreme ease of access to purchasing Cryptocurrencies and physical goods. Based on the Ethereum blockchain, they created their Pundi X POS devices, where any store with the device can buy/sell Cryptocurrencies, and also sell their physical goods, like groceries or furniture as long as they have the Pundi X POS device. The Pundi X POS network is already operational and live in many retail stores in Indonesia. Here is a short video about the buying and selling process taken from their official Website.

The video above was just a short brief of how Pundi X POS works. Pundi X Pass is their official physical wallet that enables you to store your Cryptocurrency, where you can also use it by simply scanning it over the POS device to proceed with your order. Pretty simple and awesome! But it gets better, You can even sell your Cryptocurrency to the store using the same process shown in the video.

Lets say you sell 1 ETH at 1,000 USD, after scanning your X Pass, the amount of 1 ETH will be deducted from your wallet and you will get 1,000 USD in exchange that will be stored and credit to your Pundi X user account, which later could be withdrawn to a bank account just like how you withdraw any Crypto gains you make from any exchange at 1% fee, Wherein a normal (physical) exchange the fee from cash to crypto is 3%. The 1% fee goes to the Store Owner (Seller) and not the Pundi X network, this is to encourage retail store owners to get the Pundi X POS device and implement it to their stores. With this whole process, you can proceed with your daily crypto trading without having to sit on a computer all day, to a certain extent.

Based on the Roadmap shown on their Website, they should have Pundi X network coverage in most regions of the world by the end of the year 2020.

If you are not interested in their ICO, keep an eye on this Coin after it hits exchanges as it might be a good coin to be a part of.

3. RaiBlocks:

Heavily compared to IOTA, RaiBlocks (XRB) is built on BlockLattice and not BlockChain for a change, in BlockLattice each account has its own blockchain. Transactions are quite different on a BlockLattice where the sender has to send the funds, and the receiver has to create a transaction for receiving funds. They don't have to be done at the same time, just whenever both sides are true then the transaction will be processed. Basically, transactions are Asynchronous so it should be instant to send and receive transactions without having to wait for other transactions waiting in line, like Bitcoin, or the Flea Market. One User can have many different accounts under one Public Key, and there are no fees for XRB transactions.

Total supply of XRB is surprisingly low. This would help the price reach much higher highs, I would assume in the 100s during this year if not a four-digit number by late 2018.

I bought a small amount of XRB from Kucoin, it is available in BTC and ETH pairs. I wanted to send the XRB to the official WebWallet from Kucoin but received the following message from Kucoin:

"The RaiBlocks wallet is not stable enough, we are working with RaiBlocks team to stabilize the wallet client, withdrawals might be delayed but your funds are very safe.
Withdrawal of this asset is not available for now"
The wallet has a very simple and functional interface, unfortunately I could not test their transaction process due to disabled XRB withdrawals. I think RaiBlocks has a great potential, probably higher than many coins out there for this year.

The current price of XRB is around 14.61 $ and could be found on Kucoin, BitGrail & Mercatox.
