RE: Does Mining Cryptocurrencies in 2018 Make Sense? Is it Profitable?

in #crypto6 years ago

I really like the post. It’s got me thinking to say the least.
I’m a crypto enthusiast. I would like to start mining through online mining pools.
I m not sure where to get good info to learn mining and trading. Heck, I don’t even own a computer. I am currently bee- bopping around the web on only a iPhone SE. don’t even have access to a computer. I’m not sure if or how much to make per year roughly to afford tax’s. I will not be able to afford anything out of pocket it would have to pay for itself tax wise at the end of yr. If that’s even possible.

I mean it is possible to have a mining rig pay for itself + taxes by year end. That's the ultimate goal of course! That is part of our big question right now, which is, if it's worth taking the plunge overall?

At this stage in the game to see any notable results you would probably need to have some start up capital. With mining going mainstream it's going to be hard to compete in the space without good hardware. We are also going to continue to see the competition increasing. Unfortunately for existing GPU miners to stay competitive moving forward they will have to continue to add to their mining operations!
