Vevue, Earn Bitcoin, making and sharing Video!!

in #crypto7 years ago (edited)

Vevue, ‘Vay-View’, is a video review app a platform for monetizing digital content. It’s an ICO token project, this application is based in make and share videos of places, social events and interest locations all storaged in Qtum blockchain, “Mobile Smart Contracts” capability. For every 30-second videos of places or events requested by the Vevue community, you can earn real Vevue Tokens based on Dapps smart contract, in this simple way, only make real review of interested locations. You only need a good smart phone and 4G connection.

The project originally began in 2014, launching an alpha version with tokens in the summer of 2016. Previously launched as an Ethereum ‘Dapp’ which had users collecting “Vevue equity tokens”, now Vevue has de-cluttered their offering and relaunched Vevue Tokens with a focus on allowing users to earn and spend only bitcoins.

Vevue tried to make the proposal as broad as possible because there may be use cases that it’s not currently aware of. Maybe in the future opportunities to collaborate will surface but as of now Vevue is own DAO trying to build it's own network within the bigger network of DAO's.

Total token allocation will be 100 million,
with around 5 million coins available for beta testing.
The goal with our Token structure is to build a feedback loop.

Profits from the database split 50/50 between a dividend paid to Vevue Token owners and re-buying Tokens only to redistribute through new Requests or Awards on CoMakery.

How to Earn Bitcoin with Vevue!!
Vevue enables users to request any videos of any place or events such as restaurants or landmarks by pinning them to a map, and place a bitcoin bounty on them.

You earn Bitcoin and pin Bitcoin to create or share map of videos requested by the community. Any video app can take videos of any subject, and upload theme into Vevue and claim the bounty reward.

As explains, Olson the founder, “The only way to earn Bitcoin is by answering an already pinned Request from the map,” Olson added. To ensure everyone gets paid, while the app is new and there are not many users requesting videos yet, the company is taking it upon itself to pin requests for users to answer.
You have to pin 5 Bits on the map near your location and each time they answer the Request by uploading video, they earn 1 Bit. He then described how he uses revenues from his eBay business to fund Vevue development. “My budget for Beta testing is 6 BTC. 1 BTC spent creating Requests at 5 Bits. I spent 5 BTC to develop those quality content,” he revealed.

Vevue’s Vision
The startup is offering one bit (0.00000100) per video posted, or 100 bits for high-quality videos if you get approval for it in advance. The minimum withdrawal amount is set to 100 bits, according to the company’s blog. “We’re looking to find individuals to upload quality videos following the message instructions attached to each Request. In any part of the world!,” Olson explained. “Ideally we’d like to find Vevuers in unique locations covering unique things.

Vevue is a form of peer 2 peer journalism. Every users have a social profile on Vevue. Any upload videos without answering requests will show on their feed but they will not be paid. Olson noted: We have plans for a reputation system. But for now will focus on rewarding individuals that show ambition/creativity.

The Vevue App is available for Android phones.
After, install it, you need activate geo tracking for Vevue to pin requests in that geographical area. Users can create a profile, start uploading videos, or look for in the map to see videos that have already been uploaded. Every users can deposit bits to request videos or answer video requests to begin earning bitcoin. You have 29 seconds to Vevue your surroundings. Speaking is optional. Hold your phone horizontally, move slowly and keep steady.

“Your world, your lens” is the slogan of this up-and-coming social and sharing app, Vevue.

The free app lets users share each other’s experiences in any place or venue, from the local street market to the hippest beach clubs in the Caribbean. It lets friends see a place through the user’s eyes, as Vevue puts it.

Currently, Vevue has an android app where users can take 30-second videos of themselves making reviews or commentaries of the different places they visit.

After the 30 seconds is up, the video is then automatically uploaded to be shared with family and friends.

Vevue also has a Google Chrome extension, letting everyone see Vevues throughout Google+. Vevues submitted to Google+ Local Pages can be viewed when using Chrome on your desktop. Visit the Chrome Web Store and install the Vevue Extension

The Vevue videos are also automatically linked to the Vevue YouTube Channel so anyone can see the reviews and videos from anywhere in the world. You may also visit the "govevue" YouTube Channel to view all Vevues

This service, if you wan’t to call it that, creates the ultimate checks and balances for war, politics, shootings, and nearly everything with controversial matters.

Below I would like to address a few key points to why I believe this project will be the future of video.

Transparency of the team (For individuals familiar with crypto this often times gets pushed lower on the totem pole of prioritization.)

Built on the Qtum Blockchain “Mobile Smart Contracts” allowing direct peer to peer contact/communication

Solves a REAL problem for many people. (Solving a problem that is meaningful to the masses is very important when developing a new business).

Lack of redundancy when compared to possible competitors (unique).

Vevue aims to essentially bridge media content, to cryptocurrency in the form of Bitcoin.

An individual or company who wishes to see content of any sort will post a bounty of Bitcoin at a specific location via a pin on a map.

When the bounty is answered with video content, that individual then receives the bounty that was posted.

If you are already familiar with PoW vs PoS an interesting twist is actually adopted within Vevue.

The verification of transactions within the ledger is confirmed by people or companies uploading videos, meaning the only hardware necessary to confirm transactions is a mobile phone.

One might ask, “Why is this relevant when youtube, vimeo, and plenty of other media services already exist”, because Vevues allows for the actual content creators to be getting paid directly and not being scalped of their hard earned revenue.

As far as scalability and creating a meaningful database, this is now possible. The real market and the people most positively effected, are all the people who aren’t capable of collecting bounty in the first place. That demographic can forever be changed for the better with Vevue.

Towards the beginning, video will be live, and bounties may be small and sparse, but once the community evolves anything is possible. With recent advancements in virtual reality along with peripherals for GoPro and many other video recording devices, the possibility of watching whatever you would want to watch is finally here.
