Eterbase.exchange - Why this will be big not only in Europe, but globally.

Eterbase are about to publicly open their doors for trading on the 17th June

There are many reasons to be excited for this launch but I'll just focus on the following 5 as an introduction.

Fiat Gateway

Eterbase will be offering (just to start with!), integrated IBAN accounts on the exchange allowing you to make and receive SEPA payments in the EU.

You will be able to seamlessly trade Fiat-Crypto, eliminating the need to rely on stable coins for trading and remove any complications in moving your funds back to your 'main' bank account should you need to.
Negative Trading Fees

Now for market makers this is huge. By locking the exchange's token Eterbase Coin (XBASE ticker), there are 8 membership tiers available that will give varying benefits to traders.

The top 4 tiers give negative fees of 25%-100% of the takers fee. All 8 tiers will give varying discount from 0.08% fee at Level 1 to 0.01% fee at level 8 for being the taker on the trade. What this means if you are a level 8 member and you fill the order book (being a market maker), you will receive 100% of the fees paid by the taker of the trade when it executes.

Expect massive liquidity from this set-up.
Compliance and Security

Eterbase will have banking grade security and compliance with European legislation for GDPR/AMLD4/AMLD5 (through to 2020).

Eterbase company will also be publicly traded on the Prague Stock Exchange via a SICAV fund for qualified investors. On top of this they are working with the National Bank of Slovakia on compliance in several fields that such as crypto-to-crypto, crypto-to-fiat, security tokens, crypto-derivatives, Initial Exchange Offerings and payment system based on Directed Acyclical Graphs. Eterbase are aiming to join the innovation HUB within the central bank.

As a lot of the future regulations in this space are still being drawn out, this will put Eterbase at the top of the list for on-going compliance where other exchanges will be treading carefully.
Exchange Engine

Quite frequently we hear of exchanges overloading, missing the ability to process orders in time when the market has high volatility. This will be a thing of the past with Eterbase with the architecture they have implemented.

Their order matching component can deliver up to 15 million trades/sec on a single node, messaging system delivering up to 20 million messages/sec over the network between two nodes and a DB engine that is linearly scalable, with maximum performance limited only by costs. All this will be supported by a latency of under 100 microseconds, that's up to 1000 times faster than many traditional systems used today.

The Team

Of course, this is hugely important given the task of delivering the above. While Eterbase have some of the worlds top developers on their team, I will focus on the founding team that will drive this business forward.
