CoinGate and PrestaShop partnership to bring cryptocurrency payments

CoinGate and PrestaShop announce a partnership to enable tens of thousands of online merchants to start accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment method. The integration of CoinGate services into the back-end of PrestaShop platform will reach at least 80,000 EU-based merchants.

CoinGate and PrestaShop partnership is a significant step in the adoption of cryptocurrencies. CoinGate CEO Dmitrijus Borisenka explains the reasoning behind the collaboration. He stresses the importance of enabling the masses to access this new exciting technology.

CoinGate and Prestashop have teamed with a promising move towards mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies to permit consumers to pay for services and goods using Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, Ripple, Dash and 50 other altcoins in e-stores that accept and use Prestashop’s e-commerce software.
