Lumen, light and... to the MOON!
Some weeks ago I was writing about a new project in the cosmos blockchain, aimed to power IBC/swapping, android integration and airdrops. Now, the community has tried to keep it strong, and one of the most critical measures has been stabilizing price by ensuring liquidity. That's why we have created an external incentivized pool for 90 days, with just one day of unbonding period. The total amount to share is 250000 lumen. As a result, we saw a rapid x20 surge in price in less that one day, after what it went down, but nevertheless the price of the token doubles what it used to be when I first wrote about it, and 8 times higher of its historical bottom.
In a matter of just a few days we are planning to set up two new gauges (7 days bonding, 750000 lumen and 14 days bonding, sharing 1000000 lumen). In addition, two million tokens are given away to liquidity providers. To participate, follow these steps:
First of all you will need ATOM, OSMO or whatever token from the Cosmos Network, so purchase them, trade them or withdraw from your favorite exchange.
Deposit the tokens in an Cosmos compatible wallet. If you are using a cell phone, Cosmostation is a good choice. Nevertheless, a personal computer or laptop is needed to complete the next steps.
Create an account to get an address if you don't have yet, save the mnemonic and never share it with anyone.
Select the network corresponding to the purchased tokens and copy it. You will need to withdraw the tokens to a personal wallet address.
Install the Keplr extension in your browser. Use mnemonics to restore an existing wallet.
Then go to http://frontier.osmosis.app (a front-end version of the main app). Connect your Keplr wallet extension (available for PC only) and deposit the amount you wish to invest.
Remember that only OSMO and lumen are LP tokens, so if you deposit ATOM you may need to swap them first.
Once you have deposited one of the two tokens or both in the app (which is in fact your Osmo wallet), go to pools in tthe left part of the layout. Scroll down the page until you find external incentivized pools. Search Lumen, and the GAMM Lumen/Osmo will be displayed.
Select it and add liquidity(you can check the "single asset" box if yo only hold one of them. Then click start earning and select the amount to be bonded.
Wait until the bonding period ends and pick rewards or reinvest them.
