How Did You Get Into Crypto?

Hi everyone, I am very interested to hear how people found there way into the Crypto Currency sphere. Myself was through the James Altucher podcast. I had heard a few stories about Bitcoin and the Dark Web a few years back but had no idea what it was and how to get into it even if I was inclined. With the advent of the exchanges which I believe are relatively new the space has really opened up to the mainstream.
