Didn't the price of Bitcoin soar when the markets crashed?
(Would the assumption be that...because investors are looking elsewhere....then main economic markets are doing well?)
There was a negative correlation between bitcoin and the stock market for a while, where it was stronger when the market was weak, acting similar to gold. However, that correlation was pretty weak and hasn't been around for the last 2 years or so.
