Zixx Coin

Documentation of Zixx coin mining/masternode experiment.

After mining various neoscrypt coins over the past 6 months or so in the hope of hitting the next Dash early (haha) we are now going for ZIXX. https://www.zixx.org/ We choose this based largely on enjoying the name as our earlier research research research approach failed so miserably. Zixx it's sorta fun to say. The Zixx devs also had a decent website going by the time we got around to checking them out and we liked the ethos they have for essentially turning over a large share of the profits to various charities voted on by masternode owners.

We've now been mining for 3 weeks using 1 - 7 x RX580 8gb rig to get ~100 Zixx. We joined the discord and purchased 100 seats of a shared masternode, now currently mining ~5 zixx a day and masternode shares producing ~1/day. All looks good with the community with responsive devs and mining pools. The discord bot is simple to use for the shared masternodes and had almost no learning curve although the tax is a bit steep, still what would the coins be doing if not in a shared node? Just sitting there until I get 1000 probably so it's nice to see some return however taxed. The website and bot give me some hope this is more than a scam, someone is at least putting much more effort into this than the other coins we've gone for in the past 6 months. Hopefully this will go somewhere after so many failed neoscrypt coins.
