CryptoRuble announced: Will it change the game?

Thanks for following Steemians! Huge news to talk about, as Russia has announced formally that they are preparing to release the CryptoRuble to the world. I wonder what you think the implications are for all crypto-currencies and their overall adoption adoption on the world stage?

I think Bitcoin is going to go up sharply in response to this news until February or March, perhaps as much as 5 times, as society opts for an open-sourced monetary replacement solution rather than a government-controlled crypto-currency in the long-term, but trading with CryptoRuble is likely to be prosperous until competition emerges from rival countries with their own government backed currency. Either way, I'll be watching with great interest.
