Altcoins Bought this Week DATA, Odyssey, and Fortuna
So I went ahead and started looking into coins that had their first exchange release each day. If i like the coins when i research them then I will put at least $100 in it. Eventually, I want to have multiple 100s of dollars each in these emerging alt coins so when the bulls start running like crazy I will have enough at risk to reap the inevitable reward when more and more people discover how necessary blockchain is going to be for improving the entire world around us.
I bought DATA because its going to provide the need for accurate advertising reach. Supposedly it is designed to ensure that a video ad is watched by an actual user, and this is confirmed using the blockchain. This will protect the 40% of wasted ad revenue due to bot traffic.
Odyssey is going to create the sharing economy and connecting people with AI on the blockchain. They are advised by Justin Sun,
head of Tron, so that gave them enough credibility for me considering he's an entrepreneurial prodigy in China and already has a successful app in use over there in China. Any way here are some their hard hitting points pulled from their website:
One Credit/Trust-Based Protocol for all ODYSSEY ecosystem players:
Decentralized and Minimum Operating Cost
Open Source and Scalable
Trustworthy and Anonymous
Autonomous and Better Compliance
Incentivized Participation
Monetization
Peer to Peer Ecosystem Community:
Decentralized and Minimum Transaction Cost
Easier Monetization
Better Distribution and Matching
Quicker Transactions without payment barriers
FORTUNA was actually my most exciting pick this week, because its the one that I see being able to be adopted quickly since it already provides a low cost solution to the real world problem of creating multi layered derivative markets. Its basically an AI regulated derivative market that helps with contract creation for multi variable derivative trading. I also like the aspect of them making these markets transparent where big whales can't play all day without a close eye watching every transaction. With the blockchain technology they will be implementing the protocol will be able to instantly spot bad players in these markets. I would go take a look at their white paper. It really seems like the tech is there. Here's some shite from their website:
FORTUNA supports two kinds of trading mode: PrC and PuC. PrC Mode will enable every user of FORTUNA to launch a peer-to-peer derivative transaction without any transaction cost. PuC Mode offer opportunities for every user of FORTUNA to be a market maker and create a new market for a new type of derivative contract which can bring profit for the creator related to the trading volume of the new contract.
