Japan on the Verge of Legalizing Initial Coin Offerings
A task force backed by the Japanese government has formulated guidelines aimed at regulating and legalizing initial coin offerings (ICOs). The proposal states that organizers must explicitly say how funds generated from the project, as well as profits and assets, would be distributed to token holders, equity, and debt.
Rockefeller-backed Venture Firm Venrock to Start Investing in Bitcoin, Altcoins
Another big name in the traditional financial industry decided to start investing in the crypto market and blockchain technology itself. The partnership with CoinFund signed earlier in April 2018 will help the Venrock to empower up-and-coming businesses to build exciting new projects based on blockchain technology.
