RE: The Profit Trailer Crypto Bot: Experience, Settings, Etc...?

in #crypto7 years ago

I was just advised on this by some guys in a crypto group I'm in on FB. They use PT (and advise against Feeder) but I decided to go with cryptohopper with paid signals for ease of set up. I was up and running with trades within just hours of deciding to do it. Didn't have to get VPN hosting (which if you already run masternodes probably isn't a big deal for you) and didn't have to do much with settings, since mine came from the Signals.

The guys asked me to report back to them on CH results (which I'm only a few days into, so not much to report yet). I never discussed those specific settings you list from YT, but in general they advised against any settings that were publicly distributed in favor of your own trial and error. They said they lost a little money learning at first, but now have had great results.

That said, I also got the impression that the bots do best in a falling or sideways moving market. This week I've been testing has mostly been a rising market, and my preliminary results have been positive trades but wasted trading fees eating away the profit. I would have been better so far doing buy and hold. But again, it is really too early to tell after just a few days.

I'll update you again in a couple weeks if you're curious about more than just PT.

VERY nice explanation! You really gave exactly what was asked!

Yeah better to just buy and hold but hey if theres some easy to use trade bots out there that we could hook up to steem how cool would that be hah imagine when SMTs have oitehr crypto currencies like bitshares and we have a USD Tether type SMT and we can have Trade boits setup all using steem , its going to be nice!
