Bitcoin which was the first cryptocurrency before the creation of altcoin was able to meet the need of people who needed an online currency for trade, purchase etc. Bitcoin when lunched 2007 had several restrictions first paying to the fact that it couldnt be used offline and so on.

Global Real-time Authorization and Fund Transfer (GRAFT)is a blockchain designed specifically for point of sale (POS). It was created due to the challenges faced in the past, new cryptocurrencies have been created to meet the standards of banks but have not been fully successful. Currently even banks are starting to look into cryptocurrency because in the future, with the current growth of cryptocurrencies it would be the most widely used therefore cash payment and electronic transfer would become outdated thereby calling for a need for a blockchain that can meet the requirements of bank cards without breaking any rule of cryptocurrency.
GRAFT makes point of sale easier because as many cryptocurrencies, debit or credit cards been operated GRAFT is able to serve as a link.
HOW IT WORKS
implementing a four-tier stake model where a higher tier has a greater chance of being selected into authorization sample, while the selection process is still randomly done.
- 50,000 GRFT – tier 1
- 90,000 GRFT – tier 2
- 150,000 GRFT – tier 3
- 250,000 GRFT – tier 4
By just using one platform GRAFT combines both credit and debit, therefore transaction can be done in real time. If you need
Credit | Debit |

This side is the name applies refers to funding your wallet which can be done by the use of supported cryptocurrencies e.g bitcoin, litcoin e.t.c. | This side refers to withdrawal from the platform using the point of sale benefit. it works with MasterCard, VISA e.t.c. |
BENEFITS
Unlike bitcoin for example which charges a high price depending on the wallet or platform used therefore making the transfer of little amount unchangeable but GRAFT allows for low transaction fee with respect to amount of withdrawal so therefore if you wish to get an Ice Cream for as low as $15 your total fee could sum up to $15.015 instead of $18 which wouldn't be favourable or flexible for goods of $2.
