HyperVerse was founded on a foundation laid by Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder of Bitcoin and blockchain technology in general, it was founded to be a smart money platform that leveraged the power and transparency of the blockchain to create an exclusive financial Ecosystem using smart contracts, Despite security challenges that we have encountered in the past year, we are committed to continue in that same principles of transparency.
After the security incident that occurred in 2022, we worked hard behind the scenes to recover the stolen funds and in the beginning of 2023, we were finally ready to announce and commence the disbursement of funds to affected users in the platform, this process has been ongoing for the past 9 months and we are finally ready to end the refund program on the 31st of October 2023.
THE PROGRESS SO FAR
REGISTRATIONS: At the time of publishing our last newsletter we had just crossed the 17,000 registrations mark but it was also around this time that we Announced the closing of the refund program and registrations for the refund program has exploded since then, at the time of writing, registrations has risen exponentially from 17,000 to 32,000 registrations. Thankfully we anticipated this massive growth and upgraded our system accordingly before the announcement.
KYC SUBMISSIONS AND APPROVAL: This has been one of the major areas where users are delayed and this is because our systems are fully automated and built in a way that if users neglect to provide any important information, the system might skip their application on the queue and prioritize users who submitted complete information.
For those who have already started the process, we have had a high success rate for members who submitted KYC requests. This is thanks to our efficient in-house automated system. Although we encountered some initial issues with the system skipping a few applications, we have resolved them and the system has been working smoothly and on schedule since the upgrade.
30% VERIFICATION DEPOSIT: This last step has been a huge issue for most members as many don’t take the time to read our published articles or the information disbursed in our channel. Recently there has been a huge improvement in this aspect and more and more members are accessing their refunds, we are also proud to announce that the exploiters has tried passing several fake accounts through the system and due to this amazing anti-fraud system, we have been able to detect these accounts and confiscated $20,500 from deposits made by the exploiters, this would go towards the refund program to reimburse real members.
REFUND PROGRAM IN NUMBERS
About 22,590 refund claims has successfully been disbursed and this figure represents about 97% of registered members who has made the required 30% deposit, at the time of writing this article, there are about 3% still either being processed or put on hold because they are owned by exploiters.
We are proud to announce that we recently hit the $260,000,000 milestone for total amount disbursed since the refund program was commenced. This number is steadily climbing and we estimate that it might hit the $500,000,000 mark before the end of the refund program scheduled for the 31st of October 2023.
Single largest refund amount that has been claimed by a member remains $980,000, we’re hoping someone else beats this record soon.
