Crypto Tip of the Day

After way too long living in the crypto world, I want to share various tips for both beginners and people with more experience. This will be an ongoing project.

Tip of the Day (mostly for newcomers to the crypto world, but a good reminder to us all): As soon as the news starts talking about Bitcoin and other crypto currencies and coins in a positive way, that is NOT the time to buy in. At that point, more people in the general public are buying in and the whales and (more recently) institutional money are about to start selling to make a profit, ie take your money. When people that don't know anything about crypto (like your grandmother) start asking you about it, it is not the time to buy, unless you plan to HODL for awhile (see December 2017 for a great example).
