Should Facebook be scared of Steemit?
Hello fellow Steemians,
As this platform grows, we are now at a point Steemit gets thousands of new users every week. Although most of them will need time to get used this platform. I can definitely see this platform growing.
There are currently about 2000 people whose account is worth around $14. If you look at those numbers. You might think Steemit is a very small community. And while this might be true, Steemit is also a very active community.
We currently have some great writers here, while the user-base is so small. Imagine what would happen if this community would grow let's say 5 times. This would imply that we would need to have around 10.000 people who have a $14 account. I think this is very achievable in the near future.
Once this platform really grows, more casual users will join this platform. And after that happens, this platform will become mainstream.
I dont think facebook should be scared. But i think this whole thing here can grow big. We are already a lot and a lot is coming our way.
We will grow and we will grow big!
