And make sure it is at a safe place - found only by those you want to find it. I have had lots of cases where items were stolen by people who had access to the premises, but definitely not entitled to take anything.
In their heads was only one thought : no one is looking right now, so no one will know.....and the dead person will not resent me :) I guess that's how it goes
