Project PAI: Decentralization of Personal AI

A belief system that believes individuals should have customization right and total control over their public identity in the digital world? Seems ‘Wakanda’ is now! Think of Artificial Intelligence being decentralized, customized to user's identity represented on the blockchain network and accessible on mobile devices. Project PAI is developing an open source network to decentralize AI development for a direct but verified representative of users digitally, using a Personal Artificial Intelligence.

Here is how it's done: Through a 2D image, a 3D Avatar of you is created. This Avatar is built to be a replica of you, meaning it will talk like you, think like you, sound like you. In summary it's a carbon copy of your behavioural and demographic personality. Furthermore, it is designed to take decisions on your behalf. These decisions can be constantly checked, monitored and altered by you, if need be.
The AI of current crypto platforms focuses on business activities, but PAI protocol brings decentralized artificial intelligence onto the blockchain for Personal identity purpose, combined with the features of current crypto platforms. The platform enables developers to build decentralized applications that are beneficial to PAI ecosystem.
Smart contracts implementation enables the total control of personal data by the user and not any single central entity. AI is a machine learning innovation, a technological development aiding the use of technology as a replica of humans. Machines can learn human patterns and at a shorter speed get the capabilities to act as humans. The technology is designed to achieve giving machines a model that enable them to perceive, understand and behave like humans. Artificial Intelligence service, machine learning service; in real sense, it is robots taking over human business and domestic activities.

Initially, AI economy solutions are being built on centralized platforms where machine learning are not distributed sparingly but accessible only on developers servers. So, if AI solutions is created on a decentralized platform like the blockchain, they can be accessible on local platforms like mobile devices. Artificial Intelligence solutions won't be for economy use alone but also personal use.

PIA project has been able to establish varieties of use cases all for the development of user's digital personality.

1. Personal Assistant: current online assistant models like emails requires one's presence, but with PIA avatars are designed to act as personal assistants, it carries out all secretarial duties like records keeping, answering calls, fixing of appointments, ticket bookings etc.

2. Sharing economy: based on trust and communications, PIA will manage assets sharing and exchanges between users. Like renting of unused properties etc.

3. Healthcare: PIA bridges communication gap between patients and doctors. Serves as medications reminders, patient monitoring, answers to patient questions etc.

4. Social Networking: PIA offers more ways to express oneself online even when one is physically absent. Enhance Dating, group chats, voicemails, emoji stickers etc.

5. Entertainment and Media: celebrities and brands can now be available where needed peradventure they can't be there physically.

6. Distributed Artificial Intelligence: AI is evenly distributed for the personal development of user

PAI is built on four principles

1. Identical and realistic representation: personal avatar can act, talk, think, sound, interact, even sing like the owner

2. Verification: the protocol enables data verification for trust thereby eliminating fake identity, duplicate PAIs and impersonations.

3. Delegation: PAI can be commanded (permissioned) to represent one in a conversation or for anything i.e to act on one’s behalf.

4. Collaborations: it enables a community where users can contribute their personal data to improve the network and users are compensated for it.

PAI is a fantastic innovation, at least one can have a break from multitasking, have a representative like a twin. PAI needs to update its whitepaper, to add team members details. The times we hear talks of team members is from an Hashedpost interview where the Co-founders Adam Zheng and Nikhil Jain announced that they have nearly 50 members and also added 15 persons team of blockchain engineers. Also, Alex Waters, the Technical Advisor talks about partnership FAQ. The truth is, we need to know those on board even if it's PAI of them at least, for accountability and dependability purpose.
