3. Coinbase Custody has $1B in AUM
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said the exchange’s custody service, Coinbase Custody, has $1 billion in assets under management (AUM) in just 12 months after launch. More >
4. Binance starts trading/withdrawls
Last week, the company suffered from a data breach that resulted in hackers stealing the equivalent of more than $40 million in bitcoin. More>
5. Bitfinex raised $1 billion
Crypto-exchange Bitfinex continues to move on from last month’s Tether cover-up accusations, announcing the distribution of its new utility token. Parent iFinex, who raised $1 billion through the private offering, will list the token on the exchange from Monday. More>
6. Amazon patents PoW system

7. Microsoft building on Bitcoin
Microsoft is leveraging blockchain technology to create a trustless digital identity scheme, but its not launching a token or building a private blockchain to do so. Its building on Bitcoin instead. More>
