Spectrocoin Rolls Out New Version For iOS Crypto Wallet

in #crypto7 years ago

Spectrocoin, one of the early Bitcoin debit cards providers, announced yesterday a new version of their iOS wallet in App Store. Spectrocoin is often touted as the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) of the largest venture called Bankera, which recently raised more than $100 million in one of the most successful (and popular) ICOs, with more than 100,000 investors.

I'm glad to see they are still hard at work, rolling out updates for their legacy products.

The Spectrocoin wallet lets you deposit fiat or crypto using a variety of methods (including debit / credit cards and SEPA transfers in the EU), send crypto (with zero fees, if the receiver is a Spectrocoin user, based on off-chain transactions), exchange fiat for crypto (and vice-versa), and, most importantly, it also gives access to your very own IBAN account opened on the platform.

The deposit commissions are a bit high, while the deposit limits are a bit low, but it's good to know that you have this emergency option, if you need to.

There are also a few security enhancements on this new update, which are encouraging for further developments of the Bankera product.

If you want to read the whole change log, have a look at Spectrocoin's blog post.

We need few more coins like these who provide Debit cards for crypto withdrawals....

Owk this is great but what I dint know is if it's the first. I have never heard of any iOS crypto wallet before though. Can someone enlighten me.

There are probably wallets for iOS. There are many popular cryptocurrencies and we are 6 months into the cryptocurrency trend.

Dash, for example, is one that has been promoting their own products for long enough to have created their own wallet, so I'm sure they have one.

Heyy, I was looking for something like this, but you say that this one has very high fees. I'll consider it for emergencies, but meanwhile, do you have knowledge of a service which provides credit cards in USD that can be created and filled through cryptocurrencies?

Maybe a normal CC to which you can deposit, but IDK. I've been looking and haven't found anything, and since you're in this scene you may know.

SEPA can do just fine

Luno, like a moon hanging over the electric sky. From concrete jungles to virtual galaxies led by blockchain and nodal internet.

For now, SEPA is unbeatable, the best option. So I would have an EU account, and from that one I will send to the IBAN Spectrocoin gives you. Other options include Revolut (a debit card with which you can acquire crypto) and, lately, Square as well (the app founded by the co-founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey).

Thank you :) I'll google all of those!

This is good news for crypto lovers, more options for users to engage in their daily banking transactions with more ease. With the impeccable reputation from spectrocoin, its quite assuring that the wallet will provide users with ease of use and more developmental expectations in the future. Hopefully they become global

I think that this kind of evolutions is what will solidify the position of cryptocurrencies. Whenever I tell my family about my investments, all they talk about is market bubbles, the difficulty of transactions with inexperienced people, the difficulty of getting into most currencies, etc.

And now here with are where technology is catching up to the trend and people are beginning to be able to be free in a more "traditional" way, which is more comfortable for the oldies and the sceptical.

Great news! Accessible crypto wallet for everyone. Their continued updates is another great way in promoting the easy access medium of the future currency. 😊

The crypto market is booming with various innovations. This is impressive.
