NordCoin Launches ICO for Production and Lease of Squares in 30 Mobile Mining Containers
Today, NordCoin, the creator of mobile containers for cryptomaming, officially announced the launch of the ICO. The main goal of the ICO is to raise funds for an additional 28-30 mobile mining containers (MMC). It is expected that the new containers for mining will repeat the success of the first four, previously created by the company.
NordCoin was founded in 2014 in Estonia by a team of blockbuster enthusiasts and fintech entrepreneurs. After four years of testing, the company is ready to expand throughout the Nordic region due to the success of MMC technology.
Mobile Mining Containers (MMC)
The MMC technology, developed by NordCoin, allows the creation of stand-alone containers for mining, controlled from a distance. Technology helps to overcome the three most important problems affecting the profitability of the crypto industry:
speed of hashing;
the cost of energy;
the cost of renting space.
The MMC container is a tightly packed data center built into the body of a repaired 40-foot freight container. Inside the modified container there are modular racks on which power mining devices (ASICS or GPU) are located. Also in the container are built-in climate control system for optimal performance of devices, a complex set of sensors and equipment for remote surveillance and secure Internet connection.
40-foot cargo containers NordCoin can be transported anywhere in the world where low cost of electricity and its excess create optimal conditions for mining. Miners can forget about the difficulties in providing and managing individual mining units, relying on the experienced NordCoin team.
For the first time, NordCoin started creating MMC containers in the middle of 2017 thanks to the support of a group of private like-minded people interested in validating the idea. The prototype of the first container (MMC-1) was built with an initial investment of $ 430,000. The first prototype provided a hashing speed of approximately 53 GHz / s.
To date, NordCoin has completed the installation and successful installation of four MMCs (MMC-1 in November 2017, MMC-2 in March 2018, MMC-3 in April 2018 and MMC-4 in June 2018) support of direct investments of founders. Having proven the economic viability and high productivity of the MMC, NordCoin aims to raise capital through the ICO to create an additional 28-30 mobile containers. In order to guarantee sufficient capacity, NordCoin signed a contract with an Estonian electricity supplier, the Viru Keemia Group (VKG), which provides mobile containers with energy.
"NordCoin is striving to create a solution that will significantly improve the profitability of the current crypto production model," commented Hermes Brambat, a member of the NordCoin board and a founding member of the Estonian Crypto-Currency Fund. - Today's launch is an important step in this direction. MMC technology can dramatically change the economy of cryptomaming, transporting up to hundreds of miners at a time. "
