From 500 to 10,000. A rookies journey to dat crypto life. P1.
Hello everyone!
My name is Papa Bear,
I joined the crypto community August 2017 when I started mining from my PC, I made $5 in two weeks running my PC 24/7. It was just for fun at that point in time. In October 2017 I made my first actual purchase (LTC) and this is where my crypto journey really began. I made so many horrible decisions, I knew nothing about TA or when to buy/sell until a friend showed me the ropes.
I'm still trash but I've learnt a lot and I want to make a series where I go from $500USDT to $10,000USDT. Initially, I had the idea of doing this within my two week holiday from University but I got savagely molested by the bear market and I wasn't on an exchange that had short options.
My background is in psychology and I am using crypto as a way to fund my studies and Mama Bears. I am currently in Australia studying doing my Honours year and it is genuinely impossible to work given the study load, so crypto is my cheeky way to get some dosh. I also intend to start a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in the UK next year and the crypto gains will be essential to getting there. Currently, Mama Bear and I are currently in different countries which is so sad but were both working hard so we can be with each other in the UK next year and then in Australia permanently after our studies.
I also figure that given psych is my background I could give a comical take on my mind as I trade and view the market. I shall call it the left and right of Papa Bear!
My current goals:
- 500 to 10,000 in under a month via day trading
- Buy Mama Bear some Bose headphones using crypto profits
- Save up $150,000 for my UK studies (One-year time frame)
- Successfully use the sell-rebuy method on NANO at least six times
- Not to get raped by the tax man
I also figure by making a public record of my goals I am forced to achieve them otherwise I will be crushed with embarrassment.
Important notes:
- Although I'm a bear, I'm quite the bull
- I want this to be a place of collective knowledge if you have any suggestions or improvements, please come forth with them, alternative views are welcome!
