Been a while...you should upvote just because of the nice picture I took ;)
Been a fair while since I've been active here on Steemit. So a big HI to you all!
Truth is, a mixture of working away at festivals with limited internet access and the recent bear runs, have both put me out of the loop slightly and also extinguished the original excitement once heightened during the crypto rush of May/June.
Sadly, my festival session started in May, and that's when - due to a lack of Wifi or 4g (remember when you could do stuff on 3g?) - I was no longer able to continue my crypto addiction. I say sadly, I had a great time! But that's for another post, maybe under a pseudonym...
It's exhausting keeping up with all the news/non-news, hype/fud and all else that comes with being involved in crypto, and to be honest it was probably good to have a break. Was it Warren Buffet that said is not healthy to watch your stocks? So hard not to with Blockfolio on the home page of my phone.
Since my last post, I have done the following:
- Been on two stag do's to The Netherlands
- Been to a wedding in Krakow, Poland, and one in Banbury, UK
- Worked at 6 festivals
- Built a desk out of reclaimed wood
- plus various other not so exciting things
I won't bore you with loads of pics... ok maybe one of some wonky buildings in Amsterdam
What have I been up to post festival season? Wow it's been a month already.
I've completed a Diploma in Web Design, and a Diploma in Web Development on Shaw Academy both with distinction and am now enrolled on the advanced courses for both. Turns out I enjoy it! Or just addicted to learning something new, I don't know. Still so much too learn!
Such a great feeling when something just clicks. By no means a master of HTML and CSS yet, but I can throw a basic website up and design it to look pretty. I'll stick some examples up at some point. Maybe I'll be good enough to start selling my services at some point...
I've joined a gym for the first since Uni when it was just £40 a year. Notice I did so before new years... my resolution will be to actually go ha ha.

Plus it breaks up my post a bit and makes it look a lot bigger than it actually is.
I'll try and get some stuff up on here a bit more regularly. Apologies if my posts aren't to a certain niche, but I don't specialise in anything, I get bored easily and like to do new things. So tune in next time, where I'll be talking about...
